Amanda Collier grew up in rural Southeastern Oklahoma, where all the roads are dirt and the closest neighbors are cattle. She always thought the land was haunted, probably because there was a Native American graveyard in the middle of the pasture. Growing up in the country, away from lights and civilization, she has always had a healthy fear of what goes bump in the night. She’s never seen Bigfoot face to face, but she’s heard enough sounds in the woods to know he’s out there somewhere.

Amanda now lives in the panhandle of Texas with her husband and their clowder of cats. All of their children are of the feline variety, which is exactly how they like it. If she’s not writing her next horror story, you’ll probably find her with her nose in a book. And if she’s been forced to leave the house, she’s probably at the bowling alley, where she bowls on a league with her husband and friends.
